The original Eddie Van Halen design, released under the Ernie Ball Musicman brand, was a hit. This is a recreation by Vintage and is a fairly rare guitar.
Action, Fit and Finish: Beautifully made, with a strong flame top under a translucent red finish. The body has an elegant single thickness binding which has aged to a nice cream, while the rosewood fingerboard is left unbound. Thejointed neck profile is thin with a flat fingerboard. Bends and hammer ons are great but the width at the nut may feel tight if you want to finger chords on all strings.
